The latest forecast update continues to trend towards a more northern track, with the center of Ian making landfall along the Florida panhandle, and moving north across central Georgia, and western South and North Carolina.

Our office is continuing to monitor Tropical Storm Ian as it progresses towards the southeast US. The current forecast has slowed Ian’s movement significantly, and it is now expected to impact the gulf coast of Florida as a hurricane next Thursday / Friday.
