Conservative congressman endorses Ted Budd for US Senate

Congressman Dan Bishop (R-NC), one of the two dependable conservatives in North Carolina's congressional delegation has endorsed conservative US Senate candidate Ted Budd, who is the other dependable conservative in the present House delegation.  Both Bishop and Budd are members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, and both have consistently scored at the top of the respected conservative congressional ratings like that at Conservative Review.

Bishop has seen all three major announced GOP US Senate candidates close up.  He served with Mark Walker in Congress, where Walker headed the establishment controlled
Republican Study  Committee.  He also served in the General Assembly while Pat McCrory was governor, and on the Mecklenburg  County  Commission while McCrory was mayor of Charlotte.  He has declared that Ted Budd is the best of these choices.

Pat McCrory gave NC drivers licenses to illegal aliens. He is unfit to be our US Senator.

The other conservative who has been mentioned is Lara Trump, who would have cleared the field if she had gotten in a month ago, and possibly still could, but she has not taken the steps that someone considering a run would be taking, such as establishing a residency in North Carolina (she grew up here but is not a present resident). Walker and McCrory are both establishment. Walker has even been endorsed by establishment kinppin Paul Ryan. That is as swampy as one gets.
