Michigan township establishes official militia and becomes 2nd Am. sanctuary | Eastern NC Now
to thwart gun control
Holton Township in rural Michigan is fighting back against the state's Democrat legislature's new gun control laws. Its township board of commissioners has unanimously passed three measures that declare the township a "Second Amendment sanctuary" and establish an official township militia. As with similar challenges to Covid lockdowns, other local governments are expected to follow in their footsteps.
Recently in Canada, several conservative run provinces announced they were not enforcing Trudeau's new Canadian gun control laws. One, oil-rich Alberta, even passed the Alberta Sovereignty Act that provides that the provincial government can nullify any federal laws they choose, and that local governments within Alberta can also nullify federal laws.

With all of the moves by Biden and his cronies against our Constitutional freedoms, it would be wise for all conservative run counties to declare themselves 2nd Amendment sanctuaries and form their own local militias. This is a great idea from Michigan.
