All of these laws passed in North Dakota are good ones. It is to be hoped that NC will pass the Parents Bill of Rights to do the same thing. Right now, the Beaufort County schools allow staff to hide this from parents, and that is not right.

What Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. had to say about Covid has turned out to be a lot truer than what our government told us, but you still call that "conspiracy theory"????? Boy, do you have your blinders on, Little Bobbie. Those European countries that banned mRNA vaccines for children and for young and middle aged men turned out to be the smart ones and they followed what RFK was advocating.

Those who trash our history are the very definition of RINOs. I wonder if Randy Walker's vote against our history as a county commissioner reflects what his wife will do on the school board when it comes to the history curriculum?

History should be taught from an AMERICAN perspective, not a globalist perspective or a woke perspective, and it should be taught honestly. Different groups should not be pigeonholed as "victims" or "oppressors" to fit some extremist political narrative. Evertything in life does NOT revolve around race, except to the racists on each side, and the leftwing race hustlers like you, Bib, are as much racist as the KKK.

When I grew up, they still taught real history from an American perspective in the schools. When I see the woke propaganda being sold to school children today, it makes me angry. I don't know which course is the best, but most of the big education companies seem to play to the big liberal states and what they produce is just not appropriate.

Hmmm! I see that Pig Bob is on the same side as Hitler on gun control. That also puts him / her on the same side as Stalin and Mao. No big surprise, that.

There was a post on this site last year of an old New York Times article earlier during HItler's reign where they were just imposoing gun control on the local levels, and the Nazis claimed that Jewish people were attacking Nazi officials and that caused the need to take away guns. I highly doubt that such attacks were actually happening, but I strongly suspect those Jewish folks wished they still had their guns when the gestapo came to take them away to the camps.

That tape shows we have a bunch of pathetic seat warmers on our school board, who are yes men / women for the superintendant and his minions. Some have an "R" by their names but do not seem to be much of real Republicans. Some are openly Democrat. A few seem to really care, but they are a minority of the board.

That Dr. Phillips told them last meeting that the Bridges curriculum was "not common core". This meeting they had to admit that Bridges website boasts about how their curriculum actually aligns with Common Core. Was Phillips just uninformed last meeting or was he deliberately trying to mislead them? Neither answer speaks well for our school bureaucracy.

Watching some of the school board members dance around why they would still vote for a curriculum that aligns with the failed Common Core AND contains woke "social justice" components would be amusing if it were not sad for our students. So, "experience teachers" might delete the social justice dogma? What about less experienced teachers or those who buy the leftwing dogma of the radical NCAE? Experienced teachers might take out some of the Common Core elements? What about inexperienced teachers or lazy teachers or teachers who think they need to follow what is given to them? The parents of Beaufort County were offered silly excuses, not a solid math curriculum free of political indoctrination and without the failed Common Core which damages students math ability.

The sponsor of this bill allowing Blue Cross to loot its own reserves, which is contrary to the interests of those covered by its health insurance, was sponsored by a liberal Thom Tillis Republican, Rep. John Bradford (RINO-Mecklenburg). In fact, Bradford was Tillis' own hand picked replacement when Tillis left the seat to go to Washington. Bradford also has a liberal voting history on major liberal bills, like letting men into women's restrooms and locker rooms, saddling electric ratepayers with NC's Green New Deal, and socialized medicine with the Obamacare Medicaid expansion. Now this liberal scumbag wants to succeed outstanding conservative Dale Folwell as our State Treasurer. That is just not acceptable.

It is good to see Virginia joining Florida in working to drive a stake through the heart of the Marxiat DEI monster. Their "equity" concept of government imposed equallity of result is the exact opposite of the American principle of equality of opportunity and meritocracy. It is also directly opposed to Dr. Martin Luther King's concept of looking at the content of one's character, not th ecolor of someone's skin.

Censorship of history and literature is just wrong. Great literatrue is great literature, period. Mark Twain is also getting censored by the left, which wants to push his great works out of libraries. As to the "N word", most of the times I have heard it in my own life has been from black folks unhappy with another black person. I have not heard it from a white person in decades. Apparently, there is a double standard on use of that term. One does not junk great literature just because sensibilities over language change.

As to warnings, there is a whole lot out there that probably ought to have a Marxist warniing on it with a hmmmer and sickle these days that is put out by the modern left.

Just because it contradicts your far left narrative, Little Bobbie, does not make it untrue. In fact, it tends to indicate it is probably true.

One office that needs a fresh conservative face is our state senate seat. With redistricting, we inherited a RINO from Kinston, Jim Perry, who has been a major proponent of a whole host of liberal bills including gambling, expensive green energy, and Obamacare / socialized medicine.

ESG is pure Marxism and wokery, just like DEI. One wonders which woke corporation is pulling strings with our corrupt liberal legislative leaders to stall this bill? The crossover deadline is THursday. Phil Berger and Tim Moore simply have to GO.
Commented: Monday, May 1st, 2023 @ 8:02 am By: Rino Hunter
These laws are being passed in many states around the country. Neighboring Tennessee has one. North Carolina was the first, but the despicable cowardly RINOs in the legislative leadership, Phil Berger and Tim Moore got their panties in a twist due to pressure from woke corporations and played surrender monkey, repealing our bathroom privacy law, HB2. Phil Berger and Tim Moore are a disgrace and need to be replaced by leaders with a full set of vertebrae.

Some of those comments on the Daily Haymaker point to the real problem here. We have certain Republican legislators, including those in the leadership, who ought to mount red lights above their office doors because they are such prostitutes for the special interests. The state senator who (mis)represents Beaufort County is one of those, Jim Perry of Kinston.

Like the NC Green New Deal and the Obamacare Medicaid expansion, NC consumers are being screwed to the wall to pander to the crooked special interests. Big companies like Duke Energy, which has an electric monopoly in most of North Carolina, and Blue Cross, an oligopoly with 83% of the medicial insurance business in North Carolina are being heavily favotred over John Q. Citizen. Jim Perry is trying to be the best politician that special interest money can buy.

We should not forget the chief sponsor of this corrupt special interest bill, Rep. John Bradnford (RINO-Mecklenburg, who was liberal Thom Tillis' handpicked replacement in his old NC House seat when Tillis went to Washington. Now Bradford is trying to run for Dale Folwell's job as State Treasurer. Electing Bradford would be an unmitigated disaster and we need to stop him in the primary. If not, then conservatives should just sit out the general election for State Treasurer or if available vote for a protest candidate such as a Libertarian. The Democrat is certain to be as bad as Bradford.

Does everything in the world for you revolve around either race or more often gay / transgender? The issue here is about Common Core, a method of teaching math that is denounced by many parents as not working and as destroying the math ability of their children. Common Core has been highly controversial since it appeared on the scene.
Commented: Thursday, April 27th, 2023 @ 10:45 am By: Rino Hunter
I guess we will see which school board members stand up for parents and which RINOs and Democrats are flunkies of the liberal control freak superintendant. Common Core is hated by parents and damages the math abilities of our children.

The politically corrupt FBI is a disgrace, covering up the manifesto of the transgender terrorist, just like they covered up the Hunter Biden laptop. Richard Nixon is no longer the king of political coverups. That title now belongs to the corrupt politicized FBI. The crying need to repeal and replace the bent FBI becomes more apparent every day.

The Louisville bank shooter's writings were revealed, why not that of the Nashville trans terrorist?????? Actually the Louisville shooter was revealed by his writings to be a leftist who was trying to strike a blow for gun control and for mental health funding according ot his writings. Of course, only the British press seems to be reporting that, and some US conservative sites. The MSM ignores it because it does not fit their political narrative.

You have your far left ideological straight jacket on, Little Bobbie. This is about bad behavior - flashing girls, sexualizing children, voyeurism, etc. If they want to behave appropriately they can dress as women, as clowns, as space aliens or whateever they want. This is about stopping BEHAVIOR that adversely impacts normal people. Most blacks I know are more offended by this type of behavior than anyone. And they get offended that these mentally disturbed trannies try to compare themselves to the civil rights movement. The civil rights movement was not engaged in obscene behavior.

The real problem is a despicable act of members of one biological sex invading the space of the other biological sex, and those arrogant jackasses who feel they are entitled to do it. If Little Bobbie were a Christian, he or she would understand the concept of hate the sin, love the sinner.

And BTW, the science of gender is biology, not pshchiatry. It is time to dollow the seience.

This dude identified himself as a "transgender", but the real problem here is when nothing is done to stop biological males from going into womens and girls restrooms and locker rooms.

I am told that there are at least six renegade Republicans who either contributed to and/or publicly supported Democrat Corey Rogerson in last year's sheriff's race against Republican sheriff Scott Hammonds on the current Beaufort County Republican executive committee, while not a single conservative county commissioner or school board member is on it. This committee appears stacked and for the Democrats. Conservatives were deliberately cut out, and the bushwhacking was extensive.

NO WAY JOSE! Bradford was Thom Tillis's handpicked successor in his old state house seat, and has a VERY liberal voting record. If liberal RINO Bradford is the nominee, I will just skip the State Treasurer's race. There is not a dime's worth of difference between Bradford and a Democrat.

Bradford supported the Obamacare Medicaid expansion, the NC Green New Deal, and the repeal of our bathroom privacy law, HB2. He is more like a Democrat than a Republican, just like his role model, Thom Tillis.

The problem in Raleigh is not the caucuses as a whole, but the dictatorial leadership and their tendency to sell their souls to the special interests and then demand that Republican legislators carry out their corrupt bargains. Speaker Moore and Senate President Berger should have red lights mounted above their office doors because they are such whores to the special interests. They also try to control the campaign funds so if a legislator actually votes his conscience or the position of his constituents, the leadership can punish them. Moore and Berger are no different than Liston Ramsey and Marc Basnight. They are power drunk legislative dictators and political whores. Democrat or RINO makes no difference. Moore is Liston Ramsey 3.0 and Berger is Marc BAsnight 2.0 (Tillis was Ramsey 2.0)

The failure of the police to arrest these trans thugs is appalling. This mob was "acting in concert" meaning that every one of them could and should have been charged with what any one of them did. Physical assault was let slide. Even worse, blockading Miss Gaines in a room for 3 hours and not letting her out, even demanding money for her to leave unharmed, constitutes kidnapping under the law. Every one of these trans mobsters should have been arrested and charged with kidnapping.

Unfortunately, our legislative leadership in North Carolina is full of Democrats in Drag, which is even worse than a RINO, and that is true in both the House and Senate. Liberal RINO Senator Paul Newton is actually Senate Majority Leader. He has joined the top Senate leader, RINO Phil Berger in all sorts of major leftwing efforts, and Berger went so far as publicly endorsing a liberal Democrat judge in the last election. We have clones of Benedict Arnold in all the major leadership slots in both the House and Senate.

It was one of Newton's legislative staffers who went to work for Berger to push the Green New Deal and now writes liberal stuff over at the Locke Foundation.

Sen. Paul Newton is a big time RINO. He is a retired executive of woke Duke Energy, which is massively wound up in ESG. Newton has been involved in pushing major leftwing legislation like the NC Green New Deal and the Obamacare Medicaid expansion, as well as the repeal of the bathroom and locker room privacy law, HB2. He is one of the significant alligators in the Raleigh swamp.

It has come out that the woke San Francisco police did not arrest any of this left wing mob that attacked womens sports advocate Riley Gaines. What a travesty. Not only were there physical assaults involved (although who knows whether it would be assault on a female when a man in a dress slugs a real woman in San Francisco) and since they boxed her up inside a room, demanding money to let her out, they should be charged with kidnapping. But there were no arrests at all in lawless San Francisco.
