We have the loony left in full control of our state Supreme Court, and we can change that it November. That should be a high priority for NC voters. These loons want to see tax increases and they want to gut ballot security. They are a menace to North Carolina.

A dishonest crook heading up "climate" and environmental policy???? Where have we heard that before? HMMMM! Climategate?

This is why gun control is such a fraud. Terrorists and criminals will find other ways to kill politicians or the general public if they do not have access to guns. Muslim terrorists have widely used bombs, driving vehicles into crowds, knives, and now even throwing rocks down on cars. An intruder at Windsor Castle seeking to assassinate Queen Elizabeth was even armed with a crossbow.

Even in some of the most gun controlled countries of the world, political assassins in recent years have managed to come up with guns to kill politicians as has happened in Japan and the UK.

Then there is the recent airport shooter in Australia, who was, you guessed it, a Muslim. What? An airport shooter in gun controlled Australia? www.breitbart.com

I have always preferred giving money directly to the candidates I supported instead of to the party. All the Washington and Raleigh party committees are establishment swamps and I would never in a million years send money there. I had thought that the local party committees were probably okay until I read the material here. I also learned I need to even research the campaigns I give to. When a bad consultant is spending the campaign funds of a good candidate, it is probably better to look at sending my money to a different good candidate.

There are some conservative PACs I have learned to trust, especially the Senate Conservatives Fund, but I look at their endorsements and then use their site to direct contributions to the candidates who most appeal to me.

It sounds like the climate crazies want to impose something like the Bataan Death March on the American people. Or maybe they are taking their concept from Mao's "long march". We need to fight back and RESIST.

I wish we would see the headline "NC House Speaker crushed in primary". RINO Tim Moore, a Roy Cooper stooge, needs to GO. So does his RINO counterpart in the Senate, Phil Berger. Let's flip the Berger, too.

When government officials take those who have been smuggled across our border by these criminal cartels and transport them on to their final destinations, that is not only violating US immigration law, but it is also acting as an accessory to human smuggling. The policy making Biden officials, Mayorkas and his top lieutenants, should be indicted for multiple counts of accessory to human smuggling and jailed. Biden, too.

I also wonder how much Hunter Biden "art" is hanging in cartels headquarters these days. The Big Guy is also likely getting his cut.

In the past the globalist elitist groups like the Bilderbergers and Trilateral Commission were very secretive and you always had to wonder if claims about their activities were just conspiracy theories. The World Economic Forum is different. They come out and tell people exactly what they want to do. They even write books about it. All of this is out in public and people need to pay attention to it. They are NOT friends of freedom or democracy or western civilization. The dictator of Communist China was even their keynote speaker at their last big gathering. This climate quackery is just their excuse for their extremism.

Beaufort County Republicans have our own Amnesty Man in Commissioner Frankie Waters, who is also the Thom Tillis of Beaufort County. Frankie Waters was the only Republican to vote against a resolution calling on the Biden regime to tighten up its border policies and was heard saying he voted "to protect his people" probably meaning a handful of big farmers who exploit illegal aliens. Waters also voted against the county government compiling a list of the cost to county taxpayers in Beaufort County of providing services for illegal aliens. We need to replace Amnesty Amigo Frankie Waters in November.

It is the climate alarmist "green" policies that are the biggest factor in public unrest, with Russian sanctions a minor player. It is Biden always trying to blame Russia when it is Biden's own flawed energy policies that have driven up the cost of fuel, and with it food and everything else. The collapse of the economy and government in Sri Lanka was completely caused by following the WEF's green agenda, as are the current protests in The Netherlands. What Biden did to US energy policies drove up oil and gas prices around the world, not just in the US, and that happened well before Russia invaded Ukraine.

Similarly, the adoption of the EU's Green Deal last year is what sent Europe's energy prices skyrocketing well before the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The two multi-week wind droughts that Europe experienced last year where they burned through their gas reserves to compensate for lack of wind, also did not help.

In the past, I have rationalized that Tillis was the lesser of the evils and cast a vote for him without much enthusiasm. Now there are just too many things he is stabbing NC Republicans in the back on. I will not do that any more. I should have realized that the lesser of the evils is still evil, and in Tillis' case extremely evil. There is little real difference between having a fake Republican senator like Tillis and having a Democrat. Damn the difference.

The thought that Tillis has ambitions to be governor is downright scary. No way in hell I would ever consider voting for that.

Government should not be extracting money from taxpayers to fund things like this. This special interest boondoggle is a good example of what is wrong with our county government. It is not just the bad politicians. We have a terrible county manager, too.

Fiscally conservative budgeting involves techniques like zero-based budgeting. The Langley - Waters coalition use big spending techniques to keep spending and taxes high. The county commission has two conservatives, Deatherage and Dunn running and two big spending liberals, Waters and Booth, for three seats. We need to elect both fiscal conservatives, and defeat one of the big spenders, and it really does not matter whether that is Booth or Waters.

Russia has been funding major US environmental groups for years for the purpose of undermining American energy security, as happens when we start depending on fickle sources like wind and solar. Republicans in Congress have tried to get this Russian funding of US environmental groups properly investigated but the Democrats stonewall it.

The EU in pushing the totalitarian WEF agenda is threatening the freedom and prosperity of European countries. The Dutch prime minister is a WEF and EU bootlicker (or should that be jackboot licker?). The EU is rapidly becoming the EUSSR and more countries need to declare their independence from that mousetrap as the UK did. The Dutch farmers are fighting the battles of freedom against authoritarian globalists. Hitler used environmentalism the same way the globalists use it today, as a crutch to achieve total power and control over people. Climate alarmism is a politicized fraud and needs to be stamped out.

There is unquestionally too much power in the hands of the RINO leadership in the NC legislature. The core cause is not the money, it is the ability of the Speaker to succeed himself in the House, and the end of divided power in the Senate. Prior to 1989, Senate powers were divided between the Lieutenant Governor and the Senate President, so that power could not be concentrated either place. Most of the Lt. Governor's powers came through Senate rules and when Republican Jim Gardner was elected to that office in 1988, the Democrats stripped his powers and concentrated them in the Senate President. The power arrangement you describe is the Basnight system, which was created by that concentration of power

In the House, the brake on concentration of power was the very longstanding tradition of one term speakers which began in the 19th century. That tradition was broken by Carl Stewart running for a second term in 1979 because he wanted to run for statewide office as incumbent House Speaker in 1980. His successor, Liston Ramsey decided he wanted to be Speaker for life.

Regretably, Republican leaders in both house of the legislature picked up the bad power habits of the Democrats.

The solution is simply, but probably difficult to obtain. Amend the state Constitution to require one term Speakers and restore the split of power in the Senate. The old system worked great, but based on legislative rules and on tradition was too easy to overturn.

That Tillis defends the bad policy of bribing states to pass bad laws means that Tillis is a bad senator, and one we need to dump at the earliest opportunity. Supporting red flag laws is itself a red flag that the politician doing so needs to GO. Red flag laws are un-American because they are based on the Soviet concept of guilty until proven innocent instead of the American concept of being innocent until proven guilty.

House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy is another RINO but at least he has better political savvy than Mitch McConnell. McCarthy has announced his own opposition to the gun control bill and has his party whip Steve Scalise pushing Republican House members to vote against the gun control bill.

I wish Ted Budd was already in the Senate replacing that crooked RINO Richard Burr. Ted Budd owns a gun store himself and is solid in his support of gun rights and opposition to gun control.

The Senate running the Parents Bill of Rights was probably a smokescreen to begin with to deflect attention away from their Medicaid expansion bill that they were running at the same time. It is likely that they had a deal with Tim Moore all along to kill it in the House. This is the way the fake Republican leadership in the General Assembly often works. Moore and Berger both badly need to be replaced. They are too often in cahoots with Cooper while screwing the Republican voters.

Obama is like all the climate alarmist phonies. He says one thing while he does the opposite. He is putting in a huge propane tank to have access to real fuel, not windmills or solar panels. And if he really believed all that hogwash he spouts about rising sea levels, he would not have bought than mansion on the beach in the first place. Al Gore is another climate phony who recently bought a mansion on the beach, and Biden owns one, too. And what do all the climate alarmist mucked-mucks do for all their confabs? Jump on private jets. They consider themselves to be too important to fly commercial.

It is great that Mississippi still requires an actual majority to avoid a runoff. The RINO leadership in the NC General Assembly dropped this first to 40% then to an absurd 30%, and they did it with dishonest last minute changes that caught party activists off guard. In North Carolina, Palazzo's 31.6% would have made him the nominee, while in Mississippi that gets him a runoff he will probably lose. A 30% threshold to avoid a runoff is voter suppression. It is incumbent protection, nothing more or less.

Comrade Biden trying to disarm the American people will likely work out about the same as George III sending his redcoats to Lexington and Concord to try to disarm our forefathers.

That Virginia sheriff who said he would deputize his entire county if the Democrats passed state gun control in his state should be a model for all elected sheriffs in America.

Jim Perry is a disgusting RINO who needs to be primaried in 2024. He was also a key player in giving North Carolina the Green New Deal which will jack up our electric bills a lot and probably bring us blackouts. Perry is an opportunist who serves the special interests and the liberals, not the Republican voters.
