Thom Tillis is also bought and paid for on illegal immigration and amnesty by the corrupt crony capitalists of the US Chamber of Commerce. If the GOPe is foolish enough to nominate that suck-up again, they will lose the Senate seat and the hurt is likely to go on down the ballot because the Republican base is absolutely sick of Tillis and will stay home. Republicans cannot afford to have Tillis at the top of their ticket in 2026 or they will pay a heavy price for that across many races.
Don Brown seems like the kind of change the GOP needs.

Tillis is an amnesty whore and needs to be defeated.

Making sanctuary cities and counties liable for harm done by the illegal aliens they cover for is a big incentive for these places to drop those practices. It will make their insurance premiums go through the roof. However, this bill only deals with liability of sanctuary counties in our own state. We need liability for sanctuary cities, counties, and states outside North Carolina which release illegal aliens who come here and do harm. We should remember that the Tren de Aragua murdered of Laken Riley in Georgia was a criminal in New York which protected him from ICE deportation and helped him get to Georgia. A North Carolinian harmed by an illegal alien protected by a sanctuary jurisdiction anywhere in the country ought to be able to sue the sanctuary jurisdiction, no matter where they are.

Hopefully, the military will get robust rules of engagement on use of force. Troops should be allowed to use any level of force against the insurrectionists, including deadly force, if there is any possibility of the insurrectionists doing harm to civilians or to troops or police. For example, if an insurrectionist is about to throw a Molotov cocktail into a building that may be occupied, a soldier should be able to shoot the insurrectionist dead to prevent possible harm of a civilian who might be present.

Ending the migrant crisis is a key part of the Reform Party's surge in support. Both Labour and Conservatives failed to dent the problem in recent years. Now that Reform is in control of a number of local governments, they are going to start refusing to take any more illegal alien migrants in those local areas. It is not their only big issue, as they also want to end the Net Zero climate madness and to cut taxes, but it is their most important one.

The Democrat gambit on deportation of "due process" is totally bogus. It is a scam to try to delay the process and keep the illegal aliens in the US. Many of them have already had their due process in the immigration courts where they received "removal" orders. There is no basis for the district courts to get involved.
For example Democrat MS13 poster boy Kitmar Allbrego Garcia had his day in court in the immigration court, which ruled he was a member of MS13, in the country illegally, and subject to removal. He appealed to an appellant immigration court which affirmed the findings and rulings of the immigration trial court. Boasberg and other OBama and Biden judges have absolutely no business fooling around in his or other immigration cases. There are separate federal courts for that. Obama and Clinton each deported hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens without politically motivated district court judges sticking their noses into those deportations. That was also true in the last mass deportation, President Eisenhower's Operation Wetback. The Trump administration is being treated differently for purely political reasons and our federal courts should be ashamed of playing politics that way. They are destroying their own credibility with the public by what they are doing. Chief Justice Roberts disgusting way of trying to play to the MSM media is also doing a lot of damage to the reputation of his court, something he ought to think about.

The gambit by the left / Democrats on deportation is delay, and how they accomplish that is "due process" hearings for deportees. It is already taking four years to get an immigration hearing from the time the matter is filed. If suddenly everybody deported had to have a full hearing, which was NOT done under Obama or Clinton, it would draw this out a whole lot more. This would stop most deportations in their tracks until after Trump's term was over. This CANNOT be allowed to happen.

The Democrat gambit is to cause massive delay in the deportation process with a flood of court hearings for "due process". It is part of the far left's Cloward-Piven strategy to overwhelm the system. Piven, BTW, was president of the Democratic Socialists of America.
By contrast, the hundreds of thousands of deportations in both the Clinton and Obama presidencies did NOT use due process hearings at this stage. Neither did President Eisehhower's mass deportation program codenamed Operation Wetback. The Democrats are trying to use their allied in the courts to change the rules for Trump and bog down his efforts. There is a lot of due process required from those who want to immigrate to our country contained in our immigration laws. Illegal aliens thumbed their noses at those due process requirements to sneak in, so it is an outrage for them to demand due process when they are sent home. The justices who went along with this outrage are beneath contempt. One expects that of the three leftwing members and it should be expected of them. Sadly, Bush appointee John Roberts sits horses with those three far too often. The real outrage is the three trump appointees who seem to take after Benedict Arnold. In Trump's first term, his staff vetting Supreme Court nominees had tunnel vision on trying to overturn Roe vs. Wade, and concentrated on finding nominees who would vote to overturn that abortion case but could still get through the confirmation process. They seem to have ignored their positions on other key issues, and cases like this one are the result. All three Trump appointees side with the liberals far too often, although rarely all three together. Amy Comey Barrett is by far the worst. She was even the deciding vote against free speech in the most important free speech case in a century. She was a one trick pony. While I have always taken a pro-life position, it is far less of a key issue than immigration or free speech. Right now I am so angry at the tunnel vision of the pro-lifers at pushing this type of SCOTUS appointee at the expense of much more important issues, that it almost makes me want to flip to pro-abortion.

Both Obama and Clinton deported large numbers of illegal aliens. The Democrat judges said nothing about "due process" then. Now it is just a delaying tactic to try to prevent Trump from carrying about the mass deportation of illegal aliens that the polls show that our citizens want. It is a cheap political scam by corrupt judges who ought to be hounded off the bench.
Heck, their poster boy, human trafficker and wife beater MS13 gangster has had plenty of due process. A federal trial court considered the evidence and ruled that he is an illegal alien and MS13 gang member and ordered him deported. He appealed, and on appeal, another federal court agreed with the trial court. This dirtbag has already had two more hearings than he deserved. How much more do the Democrats and their crooked judges want?

Remember when the Democrats plus that quisling RINO traitor James Lankford told us the only way to "fix" the border was to pass the Biden Border Bill to legalize the Biden regime letting in 5,000 unvetted migrants each day who just show up at the border without any of the screening required of legal immigrants? That was BS. Trump is offering real solutions that work. Of course, the judicial wing of the Democrat Party is fighting him tooth and nail.
