Texas National Guard seizes Eagle Pass border post, kicks out Border Patrol

Acting on the orders of Governor Abbot, the Texas National Guard has seized control of the border post at Eagle Pass and kicked out the Border Patrol. They are now closing the border there to illegal aliens, in effect enforcing federal immigration law that the lawless Biden regime refuses to enforce. The Border Patrol is only allowed into the facility to retrieve their equipment. Eagle Pass has seen the neaviest flows of illegal aliens breaching the border.

"Instead of enforcing federal immigration laws, the Biden administration allows unfettered access for Mexican cartels to smuggle people into our country," Governor Abbot declared. "Texas will continue to deploy Texas National Guard soldiers, DPS troopers, and more barriers."

Texas needs to start arresting the border patrol officers who cut the state installed razor wire barriers and more important their bosses who order it. Heck, they ought to convene a state grand jury to investigate and indict high level immigration officials as accessories to human smuggling. Lock Mayorkas up with no bond.
