WE need more sincere and honest election workers like this young lady who will speak out about what is being done to our elections.

Biden's trying to make law through the executive branch is an attack on democracy. Legislative power is supposed to be in the legislative branch. Our govenrment is supposed to have a Separation of Powers. Stopping the Title IX abomination of boys in the girls restrooms and locker rooms and on girls athletic teams is most important. It is good that 26 states are suting to stop it, It is maddening that our own far left Attorney General Josh Stein has failed to sue on behalf of North Carolina girls. We certainly do not need this radical leftwinger Stein as our governor.

You are like a broken record, Bolshevik Bob, to keep repeating your bullcrap far left talking point, claiming your opponents "will turn on everyone" or some variation. You are just practicing the Josef Goebbels playbook that if you tell a lie often enough, you think it will become the truth.

Burgum is awful. He says the right things now, but his record is attrocious. He is a much worse choice than Mike Pence was. He is even worse than Niki Haley. The rest of the group that Trump is considering seem to be good choices, but NOT Burgum.

Bobbie, you may have to call them "Comrade Commissar" if any of these loony left Democrats get in for four more years. "President" will no longer be the term they use. Gavin Newsome, commissar of the Peoples Republic of Californication is a prime example.

I was refering to reality, not your Gaia worship, Bobbie. Those "links" are all to articles written about serious illegal alien crimes.

Like your buddy Biden, you must not be following the news on all the crime from the illegal aliens, Little BObbie. You might take a look here with lots of links: www.beaufortcountynow.com

Ding dong, the witch is dead! It is great to see this despicable liberal "Republican" RINO who prostituted himself to the special interests G-O-N-E. Good riddance! He is actually more of an Undocumented Democrat. Perry not only voted bad, he was one of the kingpins of lots of liberal causes like the NC Green New Deal, Obamacare Medicaid expansion, and casinos. He sold his soul to leftwing special interests for campaign money and lacked any principled bone in his body. A government watchdog group found that Perry was one of the top legislatiots on the take from casino and marijuana special interests in the entire legislature last session. Republicans are much better off without him.

Republicans will appoint a senator to fill the vacancy so the super majority will not be lost.

Credentials and knowledge matter. Dr. Blinson's background shows he has it. On the other side running this circus is a gang of three, two of them complete know-nothings on school construction, and one with a personal agenda of resume building and only limited knowledge of what he is doing.

On the county commission, while some people have knee jerk opinions of people because they don't like them politically, one again has to look at credentials. As an engineer, Richardson has been involved with many substantial building projects and knows all the professional and technical aspects. Frankie Waters knows little to nothing about construction and has questionable business ability. After all, the old Tri-County Telephone went under during his stint as its chairman and had to be sold to an outside company to keep it from going bust. Waters is the perfect know nothing for Cheeseman to control.

We need to look at credentials, not who we like or don't like politically.

The Kamala Harris problem for them is huge. If they bypass her in replacing Biden, especially for a white candidate, how are black voters, who are already moving toward Trump, going to react to that? Given Obama's involvement in trying to negotiate all of this, if he puts his wife in as nominee, that may placate the black Democrat voters, but such nepotism will backfire with everybody else.

Why will nobody name the "Republican" commissioner who contributed to the Democrat sheriff nominee? His name is Frankie Waters, and yes, he is back on the county Republican executive committee. In fact, if you compare the contributor list for that Democrat sheriff candidate with the list of those elected to the current Beaufort County Republican executive committee, you will see more names on both of those lists than just Frankie Waters.

Somehow, all of those people were allowed to run for seats at the convention, but Tandy Dunn, whose exclusion was overturned by the state party, was not. When his precinct elected him precinct chairman, they were told they had to elect someone else or they would be considered an unorganized precinct. Why was he treated differently that those who wrote checks to that Democrat campaign? As the state party ruled, Tandy's exclusion was bogus and should never have happened in the first place, but he was the only one not allowed to run for office at last year's convention.

This decision gives legislative power back to where the founders intended it, the legislative branch and will stop the authoritarian overreach of the executive branch. This will nuke a lot of Biden's power grabs, including the "universal background check" gun control rule, but a whole lot more, including some of Obama's like the DACA exeuctive amnesty.

Amny Coney Barrett is a huge disappointment for siding with big government in two key opinions. That one of her clerks is closely tied to the censorship machine "Newsguard" is telling. Trump needs to be more careful in his SCOTUS appointments next term. Forget abortion, and look instead to first amendment and separation of powers in choosing nominees.

A bait and switch by the Democrats would be a real assault on democracy. I wouldn't put it past them, but I do not think it will go over with voters.

What the little group of Coleman groupies don't get is that most Beaufort County voters think Sheriff Hammonds is a big improvement over their former boss(es) and don't want the Coleman / Jordan clique back.

Great post, Mr. Blinson. All of the things you mention are things a competent school board would have considered and gotten to the bottom of, but the majority on this Beaufort County School Board just follows whereever their superintendant tells them to go, without looking at the options. We got a few good ones in two years ago, but we need to send up some more thinking members this year to replace the dead wood we have.

Tillis has been one of the worst RINOs in the US Senate since he has been there, and before that was a terrible RINO in the NC House. He was orginally recruited to run for the legislature by the corrupt duo of Richard "turncoat" Morgan and slimy Jim Black.

In 2020, we seemed to have a good strong conservative primary opponent, but then Trump screwed the pooch by endorsing Tillis. When he did that at a large Trump rally in North Carolina, there was loud booing. I have heard since that RINO Senate leader Mitch McConnell might have twisted Trump's arm on that one.

Cheeseman says he is building this school for 1,000 students. The enrollment of the two elementary schools he is consolidating is 800, and the system has declining enrollment. Where are the other 200 students going to come from? The two closest elementary schools are Bath and Chocowinity. If I were a parent of a prospective elementary student in Bath or Chocowinity, THAT is what would worry me about this scheme.

When the far left is filing lawsuits over comments on the 2020 election, conservative media have to take defensive measures like this one, Bolshevik Bob. It is really a shame that our country's freedom or speech and freedom of the press is being eroded where media have to take such defensive precautions. But when far left lawyers are suing Gateway Pundit over its comments on the lack of legitimacy of the 2020 election, I understand other conservative media taking these precautions.

That the SCOTUS dodged ruling on the key First Amendment free speech case of Missouri v. Biden on a "standing" issue, makes it imperative that anti-free speech thug Biden be defeated in November. We need a president who will appoint more free speech stalwarts to the court. Biden's one appointee is extremely anti-free speech.

The person whose watch this incompetence happened on at RNC was Michael Whatley. On the presidential debates, Ronna McDaniel grabbed the ball and took it into RNC's court, but Whatley wasn't looking and let it go out of bounds and be turned over to the other team. Whatley was asleep at the wheel and drove into the ditch. He should resign for his incompetence.

You must have been smoking something other than a tobacco product then, Little Bobbie. At the rally, Trump asked the crowd to go "peacefully and patrioticly protest" in front of the Capitol. Then he went back to the White House. When the rioting was instigated by others, he asked his supporters not to participate and to go home. You are delusional as usual, Bobbie.
Commented: Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 @ 9:11 am By: Rino Hunter
BS, Bobbie. Your Trump Derangement Syndrome is kicking in. The Trump speech is videotaped and he did NOT do those things you claim. You are just lying. The only president who threatened to kill his vice president was Andrew Jackson making that threat against vice president John C. Calhoun during the South Carolina nullification crisis two hundred years ago.

Your guy is systematically wrecking the American economy that Donald Trump had gotten on a solid path after the Obama years. My guy got the economy humming again once, and he is the only one of the two major candidates capable of doing it again.

The real political cult out there is the WOKE cult and Lyin' Hidin"Biden is up to his eyeballs in it. So are you, Bobbie.

That claim just shows how much of an ignorant moron you are, Little Bobbie. We have lots of third parties on the ballot in various states, the Libertarian Party, the Green Party, the Constitution Party, the Prohibition Party, the Conservative Party, the Liberal Party, the Right to Life Party, the Working Families Party, the Socialist Party, etc. but in NO STATE has there ever been a MAGA Party recognized by state election officials as a political party. Just the facts, Bobbie, just the facts.

The delusions of you "woke" fruitloops, however, are NOT fact.
Commented: Monday, June 24th, 2024 @ 12:31 pm By: Rino Hunter
We are conservatives and our party name is Republican. MAGA is simply the slogan of our current presidential candidate. Obviously, your talking points tell you to try to play mind games with this term, Bobbie, and you do so like the mindless lemming you are.

I am a Reagan Republican. In 2016, Ted Cruz was my first choice to carry the Reagan banner against the Democrats, but Donald Trump got the nod at the convention and did a good job of doing so. This year, I would have been okay with either Trump or deSantis or possibly even Ramaswammy. Trump got the nomination and I am firmly behind him. Biden is an unmitigated disaster for America.

If one looks at the track record of any attorney's office, one looks at that office, not lumping them in with others. If we look at the damage to election integrity from Democrat shyster Marc Elias, we do not need to bring in other WOKE attorneys.

I was not the one who nade that comparison, Bolshevik Bob. A pollster did it based on a remark by Roger Stone that the FBI was now Biden's personal Gestapo, and the majority of the American people agreed with it based on the results of the poll. Personally, I think the old East German communist Stasi is a better secret police comparison to Biden's FBI (Follows Biden's Instructions). So, calm down Comrade. Go play Bumble Puppy or something.
Commented: Monday, June 24th, 2024 @ 7:10 am By: Rino Hunter
So you have deflected from the Missoui Attorney General's court record to what some far left fruitcake claims to be "MAGA's track record in court" without even any way of defining how they calculated that. That leftwing fruitcake must be very selective in his counting as he seems to have left out a couple of cases from just last week, the dismissal of the far left Nevada AG's "fake electors" case in that state, and the ruling in Wisconsin upholding statutory ballot security measures that the leftwing Democrat Secretary of State had told local election officials to disregard. There are probably lots of others conveniently left out as well.

And that last bit shows Little Bobbie needs to consult a mental health professional ASAP.

No wonder polls show that the American people now consider the FBI to be Biden's personal Gestapo. It is a threat to American's freedom.

That is NOT the track record of the Missouri Attorney General, Bullsh!t Bob, and you know it. Stop lying.

Actually, Little Bobbie, the Attorney General of Missouri, who is the one bringing this case, has an EXCELLENT track record in court.

The civil suit will be great for pre-election purposes, but I also hope they will follow through with criminal indictments in Missouri of Bragg, Merchan, Smith, Engoron, Willis, James and all the other scoundrels involved in these Stalin Show Trials election interference Those scoundrels need to do A LOT of prison time.

The will of the voter is determined in free and fair elections. An election marred by the manipulation and rigging of Marc Elias, Mark Zuckerburg, and people of their ilk is a horse of a different color.

The same voter registration shananigans by the Democrats happen in North Carolina, too. In the 2016 election when McCrory narrowly lost, hundreds of fraudulent student voter registrations were found in Durham County. The best piece I saw on this was by American Lens, a photojounalism site run by two NC women, who have since ended their partnership. Their piece showed them driving from the administration building at Duke University where officials would not talk to them to an outlying gravel parking lot with no structures, which was the address that hundreds of Duke students (probably from out of state) used as their residence address to register to vote in Durham County. Then they had shots of the administration building at NC Central University across town which had been given as the residence address of hundreds of NCCU students when they registered to vote. Of course, nobody really lived either on that parking lot or in the NCCU administration building. Yet many ballots were cast in the names of these "voters."

In next door Wake County, the Voter Integrity Project obtained a list of people who had told the court system that they were not American citizens when they were called for jury duty and compared it to the voter registration list. They found hundreds of matches, many of whom were recorded as having actually voted. When they presented this to the Democrat controlled Wake County Board of Elections, that body refused to even conduct their own investigation. They did nothing and the likely foreign citizens stayed on the registration books.
