Kevin McCarthy acts like a Republican and his populatity surges | Eastern North Carolina Now

Polls are showing the approval rating of Speaker Kevin McCarthy soaring after he has taken strong action on conservative issues, pushing him well above where his swamp rat predecessorts Paul Ryan and John Boehner were, and particularly above that of swamp rat Democrat enabler Mitch McConnell in the Senate.

McCarthy's latest move is to inform Democrats that there will NOT be a "clean": debt ceiling increase, but Republicans will insist on one that cuts spending.  This is a real contrast to the cave-ins of McConnell, Boehner, and Ryan.

Now, if we could just train our NC legislative Republican "leaders"  Berger and Moore not to be the Democrat-enabling swamp rats that they have become.

I wish Phil Berger and Tim Moore would act like Republicans for a change. Every time I turn around they are behaving like Democrats, doing Roy Cooper's bidding. What is the point of having a Republican legislature when their "leadership" is always leading them over to the Democrat side? Obamacare Medicaid expansion, partial marijuana legalization, gambling, the Green New Deal, men allowed in the ladies room, etc - we are just sick of it!

Big Bob
You are right on the fact that horrible things have been done in the name of deity. Huge amounts of money have been misdirected in the name of Black Lives Matter and others. After all, one-third of the host of heaven was cast into the earth as un-embodied spirits. If you like you are free to hang around with them. However, much good has been done in the real name of deity and the fact that you are free to spout your beliefs is one of them. How about the efforts of Missions and missionaries and the huge amount of dollars that are contributed by churches and organizations for the hungry, homeless, and forgotten? And they will even let you in.

Yeah Big Bob, there certainly is no "Devine favor" on your side of the Non Patriot isle.

On your side: corruption, dishonesty, ignorance, and hypocrisy reigns supreme.

For instance: The constant blaming of President Trump by your bigoted band of Stupids is solidly pathetic, proving forever NOW, the Democratic Socialist party no longer has any purpose or reason to exist, except as a perfect foil symbolizing all they have destroyed.

Serendipitously speaking, here is a recent convenient truth to tell -

Any politician who claims Devine favor is indeed the worst type of charlatan and dangerous. The list of horrible things done to humanity in the name of a deity is endless. Run, dont walk, away from these people. Why? Because at some point they will turn on you. Happens every time.

The perceived transformation of Kevin McCarthy may be a glorious thing, as if guided by the hand of God, and I pray that might be true.

Additionally, I pray that Speaker McCarthy remains deep in these expressed convictions because the fight to save this Constitutional Republic from the forces of an insidious evil has just begun.
