I wish Phil Berger and Tim Moore would act like Republicans for a change. Every time I turn around they are behaving like Democrats, doing Roy Cooper's bidding. What is the point of having a Republican legislature when their "leadership" is always leading them over to the Democrat side? Obamacare Medicaid expansion, partial marijuana legalization, gambling, the Green New Deal, men allowed in the ladies room, etc - we are just sick of it!

You are right on the fact that horrible things have been done in the name of deity. Huge amounts of money have been misdirected in the name of Black Lives Matter and others. After all, one-third of the host of heaven was cast into the earth as un-embodied spirits. If you like you are free to hang around with them. However, much good has been done in the real name of deity and the fact that you are free to spout your beliefs is one of them. How about the efforts of Missions and missionaries and the huge amount of dollars that are contributed by churches and organizations for the hungry, homeless, and forgotten? And they will even let you in.

Any politician who claims Devine favor is indeed the worst type of charlatan and dangerous. The list of horrible things done to humanity in the name of a deity is endless. Run, dont walk, away from these people. Why? Because at some point they will turn on you. Happens every time.

The perceived transformation of Kevin McCarthy may be a glorious thing, as if guided by the hand of God, and I pray that might be true.

Additionally, I pray that Speaker McCarthy remains deep in these expressed convictions because the fight to save this Constitutional Republic from the forces of an insidious evil has just begun.
