Mental Health commitment proceedings can remove a crazy person from instruments of harm to themselves or others, and not just guns. They can also commit a crazy person to a mental health facility. That was what was needed in the Maine case but nobody did it.

Also, mass shootings usually happen in gun free zones, where the shooter expects that no one will be armed to shoot back. The bowling alley in this case was, you guessed it . . . a gun free zone. www.breitbart.com

The actions of the Biden political appointees are grounds to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate and indict those up to Biden himself who are actively trying to thwart our duly adopted immigration laws. The Biden mafia are totally lawless and thumb their noses at our immigration law just as much as the illegal aliens themselves do. They need to be prosecuted and jailed for it.

I agree. Just because a person posts on social media that they are going to kill so and so, bomb something, shoot up a school or kill their family does not give anyone the right to investigate and confiscate their guns. We have the right to say anything. And I say, more guns. Unless the police have a body they got nothing. Stand strong. As soon as we plant those folks up in Maine, this will all be forgotten.

The answer is nut case control, not gun control. A gun is an instrument. If a crazy person does not have a gun to use, he will come up with something else, like a knife or a car.

Look at the carnage in Israel from their gun control, 14,000 people slaughtered by terrorists and they had to guns to defend themselves with. But as a Hamas apologist, that probably does not matter to you, Bobbie.

Apparently he was a known nut job, and nobody could take away his guns. Which I think is great. The only possible solution is more guns. The violence we see today is a direct result of liberals infringing on our second amendment rights. Zero gun control is the only answer. Those dead people in Maine are probably actors in on the plot. Don't give an inch. More guns!!!

The situation in Maine did not involve an illegal alien. It involved a nutjob with a mental health problem. Those people need to be taken off the streets and not given access to anything with which they can harm others - knives, guns, cars, etc.

It is the terrorist attack from Gaza that show the need for more gun rights, something Israel does not give civilians. 1,400 people brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists and they did not have guns to defend themselves.
