Ted Budd stands with taxpayers on big spending budget, Tillis with Biden Dems | Eastern NC Now
NC has one real Republican senator (Budd) and one phony (Tillis)
The big spending Schumer - Biden budget omnibus that opens up more welfare programs for illegal aliens, funds quite a few "kinky" programs, is stuffed with pork and earmarks, and generally feeds inflation with its massive deficits has passed the Senate, and again Republicans were divided while most Democrats supported the Democrat-oriented spending omnibus.
In the North Carolina Senate delegation, conservative Senator Ted Budd voted against the Schumer - Biden big spending measure while liberal Republican Senator Thom Tillis voted for it. Budd stood with the taxpayers and Tillis stood with the Democrats and the big spenders.
North Carolina needs a change in 2026 when TIllis' seat comes up again. NEVER TILLIS.

Well, as usual, you guessed wrong, Little Bobbie. The amendment put forward was on the Laken Riley Act, nothing else, and all 51 Democrats refused to allow that amendment
But it figures. Biden garbled her name in the SOTU and did not apologize to her family. Biden did apologize to the illegal alien who kidnapped and murdered her for calling him an "illegal alien" (even though he, in fact, IS one under the definitions in federal law). |

Every Democrat in the Senate, all 51 of them, voted against adding the Laken Riley Act to this spending bill as an amendment. The Democrats clearly care more for illegal alien criminals than for upstanding American citizens. The Democrats are anti-America.
