Beaufort County turned in a dismal result in Tuesday’s municipal elections.  Only 22.2% of the eligible voters went to the trouble to vote.  You can review the results by individual races here:   NC SBE Contest Results

I will never understand people not voting when they have the chance. Since I have turned 18 way back in the 70's I have missed voting one time and that was run off for soil commissioner. I was raised in a household, if you don't vote and can you have no right to complain. And I like to complain, so I make sure I vote.
