new poll in Finland: almost half of voters want to halt all asylum seekers entry | Eastern NC Now

A new poll for a Finnish think tank conducted by one of the countries top pollsters has found that nearly half of Finland's voters want to halt entry of all asylum seekers into the country.  They prefer to send money to help them in refugee camps abroad.  The poll found that Finns were concerned about rising crime from the migrants, as well as harm to education, social trust, and welfare systems.

The poll found that  46% favored halting entry of all asylum seekers, 41% opposed to that plan and 13% undecided.  That in spite of the pollsters trying to spin it the other way by calling it "humanitarian immigration".
