Mitch McConnell has been a useful idiot for first Obama and then Biden. It is time for him to just go away. His health is so bad he can hardly even walk on his own, but he keeps staying in DC to keep stabbing Republicans in the back. Kentucky law provides for a special election if the seat is vacated, so there is no danger of an appointment by the Democrat governor. Why won't that worthless McConnell just resign or die from his health problems or something. Good riddance when he is gone.

One good reason why Americans and Europeans want to rid themselves of the curse of illegal immigration is spelled C-R-I-M-E. Here are some examples:

That is a pretty lengthy list of illegal alien crime on both sides of the Atlantic

Hopefully, this autopen scandal will allow the removal of those crooked radical federal judges appointed by use of the Biden regime autopen. They are a disgrace to the courts and to American democracy.

How can you tell if a Democrat is lying? Look to see if his lips are moving. Same with the MSM media.

These radical teachers unions have influence throughout education and are a concern right here in Beaufort County. In Raleigh, the Department of Public Instruction is full of their members who influence school policy, which they work overtime to impose on local school systems. You also have to wonder when committees of teachers are set up in local school systems for things like curriculum, how many on those committees are members of these radical teachers unions?

Maine may be difficult for conservatives, but not Alaska, South Dakota, and Kansas. Those four senators should be taken out in the primaries if they vote against the DOGE cuts. That is just unacceptablr.

Terry - You claim the closing of Snowden was "openly discussed" by the school board for ten years. I am simply asking you for the facts by telling us when you claim that issue was on the public agenda of the school board. Then we can look up the minutes for those meetings. Apparently you are not able to do that which strongly suggests that, in fact, closing Snowden was never on the school board's public agenda. If it was not on the school board's public agenda, how in the heck was it "publicly discussed" by the school board?
Commented: Thursday, July 10th, 2025 @ 10:47 pm By: Rino Hunter
Okay, Terry, if the closing of Snowden was openly discussed by the school board, will you cite the meetings where such a discussion item was on the public agenda? You say that is over a ten year period. The facts should speak for themselves. It was either on the public agenda or it was not.
Commented: Thursday, July 10th, 2025 @ 10:22 am By: Rino Hunter
The vote to start the process should have been voted down if someone was genuinely opposed to the closing of Snowden. That this scheme was discussed behind closed doors for ten years, as Williams states, shows that the school board has been arrogantly thumbing its nose at the Open Meetings Law for years. Did Williams ever object to that? Did he ever put it on the public agenda for disccussion? No, but he did vote to start the process of closing the school.

What Williams voted for was not "transparency". It was like offering a condemned man a chance to say a few last words before his execution. This flip-flop was about posturing for the 2026 election. And why did Williams not object to the outrageous procedure used by Cheeseman at the Aurora public hearing?????

Frankie Waters has a long history of supporting Democrats. He was forced to resign from the county GOP executive committee for party disloyalty a couple of years ago for openly supporting and contributing to the Democrat nominee for Beaufort County Sheriff. He is an phony as a three peso bill.
Commented: Wednesday, July 9th, 2025 @ 2:04 pm By: Rino Hunter
Stan, unfortunately we have two commissioners who are fake "Republicans". What Frankie Waters and Randy Walker really are is Undocumented Democrats. Both were longtime Democrats who knew they could not be elected as Democrats so they changed their affiliation on paper to "Republican" although they both clearly continue to think and function as Democrats. Walker even ran for commissioner unsuccessfully as a Democrat before reinventing himself as a fake "Republican". No wonder they both govern like Democrats.

It is good to hear that the accusation of Mayor Williams playing both sides is false. That struck me as not likely to be true when I read Shreve's screed. Shreve made the original motion to start the process of closing Snowden. His fingerprints on that fiasco are very obvious. The real question is why would he do such a thing to the families and students at Snowden?
Commented: Monday, July 7th, 2025 @ 2:16 pm By: Rino Hunter
Maybe we need a criminal law against judges abusing their power. Strip them of their judgeship and their pension and send them to prison where they deserve to be for trampling on our democracy.

Compare the SAT scores from public schools and private schools / charter schools. I had a grandson start in Beaufort County Schools and was not getting what he needed, then went to Terra Ceia Christian School and they were much much better. He got what he needed there. We also have friends with kids at Bear Grass, and they are very happy with the education their kids are getting there.

Years ago, someone I worked with had two sons at the old private school that used to be in Washington Park. When it closed, they went to Beaufort County Schools and were bored to tears because they were being taught in BC schools what they had been taught in private school two grades earlier.

When I was in school, all the kids paid for their lunches or brought them from home. I think most families can still afford that.

Mitch McConnell has been a Biden "Republican" and before that an Obama "Republican". We do not need any more of his ilk. He has been a lot like Tillis. WE should all be sending Nate Morris some campaign checks. Morris will be a REAL Republican.

It is a great day for North Carolina conservatives that we are finally going to be rid of Tillis. All Republicans should rejoice because Tillis would have been poison to the whole GOP ticket in 2026 if he had been at the top of the ticket. He was unelectable himself and would have brought down others.

If Shreve cannot figure out that Cheeseman is a liberal, he might want to read Cheeseman's dissertation, when he got his degree during his tenure in Beaufort County and probably paid for by Beaufort County taxpayers. In it, Cheeseman promotes the Marxist (and also racist) concept of DEI. President Trump is trying to eliminate DEI. Where do you stand, Donald Shreve?

Then there is the sort of key people he brings in. Take his out of town school board attorney, who is chairman of the Durham County Democratic Party, and who Cheeseman convinced the board to hire. The Democrat Party is generally pretty liberal but their Durham County branch has always been one of the most hard left in the state.

Like many in the education industry, Cheeseman tries to hide his politics by registering as an Unaffiliated, but it is not hard to see what he is if you look.

One litmus test on education issues that has separated the wheat from the chaff for decades has been the consolidation versus neighborhood / community schools debate. Consolidation has always been the liberal position, and neighborhood / community schools the conservative position. Cheeseman is pushing the liberal / left position and has his bootlickers on the school board bowing down to him on it.

Tillis MUST be defeated in 2026. He and Roy Cooper are two peas in a leftwing pod. I held my nose to vote for Tillis against my better judgment in the general election before as the lesser of the evils, but he is as big an evil as any Democrat. I will NEVER make that mistake again. Lets do all we can to take him down in the primary so we can get a senator we can be proud of, unlike the embarassment that Thom Tillis has been. If Tillis survives to the general election, I just won't vote in the senate race because there is not a dimes worth of difference between him and Cooper.

After Cheeseman and his school board yes-men refused to do anything meaningful on that "Gender Unicorn" incident, it is likely that there is a lot more stuff like that hiding in Beaufort County Schools, and some obscene and perverted books in libraries available to young children.

WE always knew that "China Mitch" McConnell was a sellout doing dirty deals with Democrats. We hoped that his understudy, John Thune might be better but leaving this witch in this position shows he is not. Conservatives need to work to elect a GOP Senate leader we can trust. John Thune is NOT it.

All of the fake judges nominated by Biden's autopen ought to be disqualified from office and replaced. Who knows who really appointed them, or even if in some cases they were paid to do so.

Frankie Waters tenure running Tri-County Telephone into the ground should be a cautionary tale on letting Waters anywhere near management of public money. Under Waters "leadership" Tri County went belly up and had to be sold off to an out-of-town entity.

Terry Williams was a switch-hitter on Snowden. He went along with Cheeseman until the last minute when Cheeseman no longer needed his vote and it was politically advantageous at the very last minute to switch to supporting Snowden. If Williams had truly been a Snowden supporter at an earlier stage where it mattered the end result may have been different, but he preferred to play both sides of the issue the way sleazy politicians do.

Yes, we have a bureaucratic mess at the city, county, and school board level, but the internal chemistry of each differs. The voters need to make serious changes all three places.

For the city, there is a pathetically weak city council and two power centers, the mayor and city manager. The city council as currently composed exercises no more power than the old USSR's Supreme Soviet did. It is a functional rubber stamp. Three council members are the mayor's flunkies, elected on his slate, giving him an automatic majority control. One is functionally illiterate and can barely read or write. One is not even a real resident, having a fake address downtown but really living in or near Aurora. Then there is Lou Hodges, who was not on Sadler's slate but is a wannabee, constantly sucking up to him. That leaves only one council member not a guaranteed Sadler vote, and he can do nothing. It would be interesting to be a fly on the wall if the mayor and city manager disagree on something to see which one, when push comes to shove, really has the most power of the two. The city council as it now sits, is a total joke. Hopefully that will change in this year's election so the Sadler machine can be dethroned. Washington is now a Tammany Hall type regime.

The county school board is totally under the thumb of the Big Cheese superintendant. A majority of the board are total flunkies of the superintendant. Two of the board members have daughters who are principles and the superintendent can impact their careers, so they have to follow his agenda. The chairman, T.W. Allen is a total joke who is weak as water. The superintendent can often be seen at meetings sitting beside him telling him what to do. He probably could not function at all without the superintendent's direction. Two other members are also yes-men or women to the superintendent. There is some hope on this board as four of the nine members have demonstrated the ability to often think for themselves and not blindly rubber stamp the superintendent's wishes, but they are still a minority.

The county commission also has some hope as three of the seven members have shown they can think for themselves. The problem is a commission chairman, Frankie Waters, who is under the spell of the county manager and confers too much power on him. Waters heads a coalition of two liberal Democrats and two liberal Republicans. Between Waters and the county manager, it is the manager with the stronger personality, so he calls the shots. Waters has cancer and may not run again, so the chemistry in county government could change.

Tillis is bought by special interests aligned with the Biden Democrats, so that makes him a Biden Republican. I agree that is a very appropriate term for him. North Carolina and America do not need that. He needs to be defeated in 2026. He is so hated by many in the Republican base, that if he were the nominee, he would be radioactive for the entire ticket. NCGOP does not need this turncoat heading our ticket in 2026.

Lets not forget that RINO Phil Berger gave us the NC Green New Deal with a cram down rewrite in the senate in order to pander to Democrat Gov. Roy Cooper, "woke" energy monopoly Duke Energy, and the solar and wind grifters, and Little Timmy Moore helped him cram it through the House.

When Iran 1) brags it has missiles that can hit the US, 2) encourages "Death to America" chants, 3) has a nuclear weapons program that is enriching uranium to the point it can be used for nuclear weapons, it is only common sense to take out this threat. Anyone who opposes that is either a moron or a traitor. I once had a lot of respect for Tucker Carlson, but not anymore. He is too smart to be a moron, so that means he is a stinking traitor.

Florida discovered the same thing. When they cracked down on illegal aliens working and many left the state, the left claimed that their tourism and agriculture industries would be devastated. Not so. Both are going strong without the illegal aliens and thriving.

If someone stood in front of the General Assembly with a sign calling for the beheading of this woketard Democrat legislator, what do you think would happen to THEM? Why should she get away with it calling for beheading of President Trump? The Democrat Party just keeps edging closer to where they can be called a terrorist organization, and that goes for their judicial wing as well.
