Newton County, Missouri is taking its 2nd amendment sanctuary status to a higher level. It's county commission has adopted an ordinance that allows the county sheriff to arrest federal officials who attempt to enforce any new gun control laws in Newton County.  The county's Second Amendment Preservation Act nullifies any federal infringement on the right to keep and bear arms under the Second Amendment, including any related taxes.
