The Biden-Harris FEMA did not pre-stage workers and supplies for this hurricane, which previous administrations had done for major hurricanes. It was 80 hours AFTER the disaster that FEMA first arrived in western North Carolina, a couple of days behind state of NC relief workers.

What has changed with FEMA? Look at their new mission statement under Biden Harris. Of their three new key objectives, number one is "equity", number two is "climate" and number three is a "strong FEMA". This radical administration has rearranged the FEMA we previously knew. Will proper aid be denied to western North Carolina because the area is largely white with no "oppressed minorities" to promote. Will rebuilding be stymied by the climate crazies? We cannot get President Trump back soon enough to end this far left nonsense.

The presence of millions of illegal aliens in our country costs both government budgets and family budgets. It drives up the cost of housing, medical service, auto insurance, medical insurance, you name it. We need to stop giving any illegal aliens any tupr of public assistance, welfare, housing, or medical treatment. That would stop many of them from coming and it might encourage some already here to go home.

Cheeseman getting rid of a local attorney to bring in a liberal from Durham is not the only time he has outsourced school contracts outside the county, taking them away from local people in the process. One wonders what his gambit is with that? The sad thing is that our seat warmer majority on the school board keeps rubberstamping these moves.

The school grounds maintenance contract was snatched from a local company that held it for years and was doing a good job to give to a company outside the county which charges more money for the service. The website contract was snatched from a local company which was doing a good job and was low bidder to continue, and given to an out of state company that charged a lot more money and had a sketchy performance record. These are not the only ones.

What we need are school board members capable of thinking for themselves and not being mere sock puppets for a liberal superintendant. Mack Hodges, T.W. Allen, and Eltha Booth are nothing but yes men and women for Cheeseman and badly need to be replaced.

Cheeseman has just made this change on curriculum policy. What he intends do with it in the future is still unknown. Does it have anything to do with the fact that it is expected that a new search for a new social studies curriculum will begin soon?

What has happened in the newspaper business is that the ideologues are pushng out the journalists. For example, the Washington Post for years was sort of garden variety liberal but generally made an effort to tell both sides, until the family that had owned it for years sold it to leftwing oligarch Jeff Bezos, and now it is hard left, virtually unreadable. Some call it the Bezos Post. Similarly, the Raleigh News and Observer and Charlotte Observer were garden variety liberal, but told both sides enough that they were worth reading, but now the hard left California-based McClatchy Newspapers has bought both and turned them into mini-Pravdas. Readable old-style liberal newspapers have been turned into progressive propaganda rags, indeed cesspools.

I would not expect ABC to do a thing about their moderators. The execs probably knew what the moderstors were doing all along. Disney owns ABC and the Disney exec who is over ABC is a longtime personal friend of Kamala Harris, even introducing her to her husband, and also a political contributor to Harris. Those relationships should have raised big red flags about ABC hosting this debate.

Kamala Harris wants voters to "buy a pig in a poke" like they stupidly did with "Lyiin Hidin' Biden in his basement campaign in 2020. Harris has no policy page on her website 40 days into the campaign and is trying to run on vibes instead of issues. She has had no unscripted interviews with even friendly media. Her convention and her speech there were a hate fest against Donald Trump but almost entirely devoid of real policy. I cannot imagine Americans falling for her smoke and mirrors campaign. Running away from debates is just another example of the cowardice in this woman.
