Incumbent school board candidates duck candidate forum | Eastern NC Now

say ''up yours'' to the voting public

ENCNow

Incumbent school board members Michael Bilbro and Butch Oliver are at least nominally registered Republicans, but voters would not know it after they ducked the Beaufort County Republican Party's candidate forum at Beaufort County Community College this evening.  Both of their conservative Republican challengers, Donald Shreve and Gary Carlton, came and presented their viewpoints and answered questions, but the RINO incumbents were nowhere to be seen.

In Bilbro's case, he may be nervous about showing up in front of Republicans after his multiple anti-Trump posts on his Facebook page and other liberal posts.
