CNN data analyst: voters blame Dems for Schumer Shutdown | Eastern NC Now

Democrst senators worried about what they have unleashed

ENCNow

CNN data analyst Harry Enten had some bad news for Democrats over the Schumer shutdown.  Looking at the polling, voters correctly blame them for the shutdown.  It was Schumer and his Democrats who blocked the clean Continuing Resolution to fund the government in the Senate.  Republicans passed it through the house, and had a majority for it in the Senate, but not the 60 votes to avoid a fillibuster.

Meanwhile, after the loony left's "No Kings" charades, some Democrat senators are worried about being caught between their party's radical wing on one hand and sane voters on the other.

Even leftist mouthpiece Jon Stewart of The Daily Show pointed out yesterday that the Democrats were trying to protect hundreds of billions of dollars of subsidies to insurance companies, putting money in insurance company pockets.

Schumer is playing this game with our country for one reason - his personal career. He thinks if he does not do this, he will be vulnerable to a primary challenge from AOC. Schumer is putting his personal career ahead of the good of the country, which I guess should be expected from a Democrat.
